Two Year Period May Begin Trial

Two years of sorrow and pain continue to mark the traumatic deaths of four local young people, Rehlein Stone, Caleb Graham, Suzanne McCay and Andy Tedford. Filled with flowers, photos, candles, crosses, balloons and memorabilia, a vigil site near Muckleshoot Casino in Auburn was attended by family and friends last week to mark the October 25, 2014 crash which has yet to be addressed in court. Pretrial hearings, expected to start on Tuesday, Nov. 15 at Kent Regional Justice Center, “can possibly occupy all court dates until Thanksgiving.” The hearings will be followed by immediate jury selection after a three-day holiday. Trial is anticipated for the entire month of December, Monday through Thursday, 9:00 to 5:00. With those dates in mind, it should be noted that proceedings in this case have been extended many times over a two-year period.
