On October 28 at 6:34 a.m. on the 31500 block of 3rd Ave., officers were dispatched to a civil standby at a business. A Pepsi truck delivery guy was there to pick up a cooler that belonged to Pepsi and the owner of the store was not letting them take it. Police advised the owner to stand aside while the Pepsi workers unloaded the fridge and took their refrigerator.

On October 20 at 12:59 a.m. on the 29200 block of 216th Ave. SE, an officer stopped a vehicle and arrested the driver for residential burglary in a different case. It was found later that the driver had a suspended license, and that his mother, who was with him at the time, let him drive her car knowing that her son had a suspended license. The driver was cited for Driving While License Suspended, 3rd degree, and his mother cited for allowing an unauthorized driver to drive her vehicle.

On October 19 at 4:44 p.m. on the 29200 block of 232nd Ave. SE, an officer was dispatched to a residential burglary report. During the investigation, a suspect was identified and a search warrant secured for the suspect’s residence/vehicle. The suspect was arrested and the warrant served – with most of the stolen items recovered. The suspect was booked into King County Jail on multiple felony charges.
Covington
On October 21 at 2:59 a.m. on the 17600 block of SE 271st St., a sleeping bag was observed in the bushes near a power transformer box. Upon contact, check of the male revealed he had a warrant for Criminal Trespass, 1st degree. The male was booked into SCORE (South Correctional Entity) on his warrant.

On October 20 at 17100 block of SE Covington-Sawyer Rd., deputies were dispatched to a blocking collision. While one lane of traffic was block, the driver of a small SUV swerved around a deputy in accident control position and accelerated. The driver further ignored the deputy, who began a pursuit with full lights and siren, and sped past the collision scene. The driver finally stopped. Upon contact, the female stated she was new in the area and trying to go meet someone. She was also angry and wanted to know why the road was closed. She stated that she did not see the accident scene she had just driven around. The female was released at the scene due to the deputy needing to get back to the accident control position, however, the female was recommended for charges of Reckless Endangerment.

On October 20 between 5-8:30 a.m. on the 17300 block of SE 270th Pl., the owner of a vehicle parked his vehicle behind a locked gated area. While he locked the driver’s side, he neglected to lock the passenger side of the vehicle. A few hours later, an employee noticed a suspicious male in the vehicle and notified another employee. When the second employee went out to inspect the scene, the male suspect was gone. Check of the area revealed a fence had been cut and opened. Items stolen from the truck included tow equipment, various tools, tool bags, GPS and flashlights.
King County
On October 30 at 12:42 a.m. in the area of Hwy. 18 and SE 304th St., a driver was observed passing traffic at a very high rate of speed in the fog. Travelling at over 115 miles per hour, the driver finally pulled over and stopped. Upon contact, a strong odor of intoxicants could be detected coming from the inside of the vehicle. Stating that he had nothing to drink, the male blew breath tests of .093/.092. The male was booked for DUI (with prior) and Reckless Driving.

On October 28 at 2:24 a.m. on the 17600 block of 140th Ave. SE, a vehicle was observed without a rear license plate. While approaching the vehicle, a temporary plate was observed with an expiration date being the next day. Check of the plates revealed the temporary plate had expired in August. Upon contact, the driver stated he did not have his license with him. Check of the name the male gave the deputy revealed no record. Check of a name associated with the temporary license revealed a clear driver’s license, however, the physicals did not match. When the male finally gave a name that matched the physicals, information came back that the male had a suspended license. The male was cited for Driving while license invalidated and Refusal to give information to or cooperate with an officer. The vehicle was turned over to one of the passengers, who had a clear license.

On October 25 at 4:22 a.m. in the area of 140th Ave. SE and SE 186th St., a vehicle was observed with a headlight out. Upon contact, the male told the deputy that he did not have his licensed with him and he did not know the last four numbers of his Social Security number. Check of the male came back no record. After refusing to give his real name, the male finally identified himself as Donald Trump and accused the deputy of stopping him because of his race. When the male’s real name was identified, check of the name revealed a suspended license. The male was cited for Refusal to give information or cooperate with officer and Driving while license invalidated. He was booked into the King County Jail on his charges.

On October 25 at 12:38 a.m. in the area of SE 184th St. and SE Petrovitsky Rd., A male was observed sitting on the side of the roadway. Upon contact, check of the male revealed a Department of Corrections Felony Warrant. Marijuana and glass pipe were found in the male’s backpack. The male was booked into SCORE for his warrant.

On October 24 between 8 p.m. and 9:30 a.m. of October 25 on the 19400 block of 140th Ave. SE, someone entered a house under construction and stole wiring.

On October 24 between 8 a.m. and 6 p.m. of October 25 on the 30500 block of Kanaskat Kangley Rd. SE, when a resident returned home he observed a piece of wood that was usually in the garage, outside of the garage. Missing from the garage was a generator and utility cart.
Maple Valley
On October 28 at 1:40 a.m. on the 26200 block of 26200 block of Lake Wilderness Country Club Dr., two males in dark clothing with backpacks were seen on a security camera looking into the windows of a vehicle parked in the driveway. Upon arrival, two subjects were contacted, with one rummaging through his back pack, before being told to remove his hands slowly from the bag. Both subjects stated they were playing Pokemon Go. Both declined permission to have their bags searched. After being advised their actions were highly suspicious, they agreed to leave the area.

On October 23 at 9:27 p.m. in the area of SE 237th and 221st SE, a business notified officers that a juvenile, who had been drinking, was stumbling around as well as crying. The male was looking for his friend who had wandered off. While talking with the parents of the male who had wandered off, the officer received a call regarding a fight in progress in the area of the business. Upon contact, a male juvenile with a strong odor of alcoholic beverage on his breath was identified as the male who had wandered off. After giving a breath test of .185, the male was transported to a local hospital for detox.

On October 23 at 2 a.m. on the 26800 block of Maple Valley Black Diamond Rd. SE, a female was observed taking some beer to a business counter and then informed the cashier that the cashier was going to pay for the female’s beer. When the cashier informed the female she would not pay for the beer, the female stated she would steal the beer and proceeded for the door. The cashier grabbed the beer and the female refused to leave the premises. Upon contact, the female was given a Trespass Notice before given a courtesy ride elsewhere.
