On March 31 at approximately 1:05 a.m. on the 30200 block of 224thAve. SE, officers were following a vehicle while running its plate as it turned into a resort. It was discovered that the registered owner had a warrant out of Buckley. Upon contact, the warrant was confirmed. The subject was booked into Enumclaw Jail as a courtesy for the Buckley Police Department.

On March 30 at approximately 8:02 a.m. in the area of 22400 SE 304thSt., officers received a call regarding a suspicious vehicle. They were informed that a female called 911 to report that her son was standing at his bus stop when a suspect female in a gray SUV stopped and asked him if he wanted a ride to school. The child stated that he did not need a ride to school and the suspect drove away. The suspect was described as Indian wearing a headdress. Check of the area ended with negative results.

On March 25 at approximately 2:50 a.m. on the 25400 block of Cumberland Way, officers responded to a report of a physical domestic in progress. Upon arrival, officers determined through investigation that a suspect had committed the crimes of Harassment, Malicious Mischief, 3rddegree Domestic Violence, and Assault, 4thdegree Domestic Violence. The suspect was booked into Issaquah Jail.
Covington
On March 29 at 10:13 p.m. on the 26300 block of 171stPl. SE, a 15-year old male who was angry at a neighbor, entered the neighbor’s property and went into the shed. Upon observing some marijuana in the shed, the male decided to steal it. After stealing the marijuana and stashing it on his parent’s property, he entered the neighbor’s property a second time with intent to vandalize the property, however, he was seen and then fled. The male was observed hiding under a vehicle where the owner held him at bay until an officer arrived and took custody of the male. Search of the male revealed a glass jar of marijuana oil on his person. After admitting to everything, the male was cited into Juvenile Court for investigation of Possession of Marijuana under 21, Theft 3rddegree, and Burglary, 2nddegree. The male was released into the custody of his parent.

On March 28 at 6:20 p.m. on the 17300 block of SE 272ndSt., officers were dispatched to a male who was aggressively panhandling in front of a business. Upon contact, the male stated that he was trying to get enough money for a bus. Speaking with the manager led to requesting the male be trespassed. After receiving his trespass letter, the male apologized and left the scene on foot.

On March 28 at 7:20 a.m. on the 19400 block of SE 26th St., a male was observed in the backyard of a residence that had a shed. Upon arrival, check of the home, property, and area ended with negative results.
King County
On April 4 between 12:05-2 p.m. on the 19600 block of SE Petrovitsky Rd., a female suspect who left the scene of a collision was contacted at her residence. Following an investigation, the female was charged for hit/run, non-injury.

On April 2 at 8:48 a.m. on the 9700 block of 4thSW, a vehicle was observed exceeding the speed limit. Upon contact, it was learned that the vehicle was stolen and that there was a knife under the passenger seat. After backup arrived, the driver was taken out of the vehicle and told he was under arrest for possession of stolen property. The male suspect stated that he had purchased the vehicle a few hours earlier from a friend. Following an investigation, the suspect was released, but the vehicle was left at the scene. Search of the passenger revealed heroin and a check of the male revealed he had a warrant for Driving While License Suspended, 2nddegree. Due to medical conditions, the male was released and told to contact the court about his warrant.

On April 1 between 10 p.m. and 6 a.m. of April 2 on the 29300 block of 215thPl. SE, it was reported that a vehicle window was broken out of two vehicles in two different locations. A relative was suspected, due to him being upset over the ownership of another vehicle. The suspect sent a message to one of his relatives through an online site simply stating April Fools. The relative with one of the broken windows responded back in a joking manner that the suspect had broken his window. The suspect came back with a simply statement – windows. That is when the second window was discovered. Check of a residence where the suspect was thought to be living ended with negative results.

On March 31 at 10:57 p.m. on the 28200 block of SE 204thSt., deputies arrived at a residence that had triggered a silent alarm. Upon arrival, suspects were observed in the residence with lights on. A few minutes later, the lights were suddenly shut off and someone was exiting through the back. Guardian One observed a male suspect in the woods, who shortly thereafter gave himself up. While checking the residence, two suspects – a male and female – were found inside. Search of the male revealed a crystal substance that tested as meth. A motorcycle located in the front, which the male and female suspects arrived on, was identified as being stolen. Check of both males revealed they both had felony Department of Correction escape from community custody warrants. The males were booked into jail on their warrants and residential burglary. The one male with the meth was additional charged with VUCSA (Violation of the Uniform Controlled Substance Act). The female was booked into jail on residential burglary.

On March 30 at 11:55 p.m. on the 17200 block of 140thAve. SE, when a male was leaving business and saw a deputy, he began running through the parking lot. Once apprehended, an odor of intoxicants could be detected coming from the male. The male had been observed entering the business, and then, using a plastic bag he brought in that was hidden on his person, placed a six pack of beer into the bag before exiting the business without paying for the item. When confronted, the male returned the beer. The male was trespassed from the business and released to walk home.

On March 29 at 4:14 p.m. on the 27200 block of SE 236thSt., it was reported that someone entered a possible unlocked vehicle and stole a revolver from the center console. Also missing from the vehicle was an antique watch and handicap placard.
Maple Valley
On April 3 at 5:05 p.m. on the 27000 block of SR 169, a male was observed taking pictures of some merchandise in a glass display case for close to 15 minutes before making his way to a cart filled with clothing for returning to clothing racks in the business. The male took the cart and loaded the items in a vehicle before leaving the scene in the vehicle.

On March 30 at 6 p.m. on the 25500 block of Lake Wilderness Country Club Dr. SE, two suspicious males were observed soliciting for gutter cleaning services in a neighborhood. Their vehicle had an out of state license plate. Upon contact, neither male had a peddler’s license, so they were warned about the violation and how to obtain a license. Check of the males revealed they were both convicted felons with lengthy records. One of the males also had two non-extraditable outstanding warrants from another county.

On March 22 at 12:14 p.m. on the 22100 block of SE 237thSt., a male was observed filling up a cart, but made no attempt to pay for the items before walking out of the business and driving away. Attempts to contact the male ended with negative results. The case was forwarded to the prosecutor that recommended charges for the male be Theft, 3rddegree.
