Before touring the Black Diamond Museum, residents from Issaquah Senior Center listen to songs about the first female miner in Black Diamond and the mules that lived underground in the coal mines. Steve, president of Black Diamond Historical Society, has written 10 songs documenting the town’s coal mining history.
