Russ Herman

Russ lived in Maple Valley for 68 years. He Went to Tahoma School District, graduating from Tahoma High school in 1964. He received his AA in transportation from Green River CC.
He spent the next several years in the shipping and trucking business.
After retirement he loved collecting scrap metal. Russ loved life and could talk and talk, always had a story to tell.
Russ was always loosing everything. When he laughed you could not help but laugh with him. To know him was to love him. He was always willing to help anyone who needed it.
He loved the lord and his family. He is survived by wife, Jan, of 48 years, his two sons Casey and Cody (Brittany). 5 grandkids, 2 sisters, several nieces and nephews and his beloved dog, Brock.
Russ past away due to complications resulting from a car accident. His family and friends miss him dearly.
Jan will always treasure the love letters he always wrote her.

A private graveside funeral was held at Hobart Maple Valley Cemetery.
