On October 25 officers filed, Possession of Stolen Property, 3rd degree, charges for a 23-year-old male in connection to a boat motor being reported as stolen on August 25 from the lake on the 30400 block of 227th Pl. SE. The male was booked into SCORE (South Correctional Entity). Earlier in the month, on October 4, a 24-year-old male was charged with Theft, 3rd degree, and booked into Enumclaw Jail in connection with the same crime. The property was recovered and returned to the victim.

On October 15 at approximately 8:40p.m. on the 30700 block of 229th Pl. SE, officers were dispatched in reference to a submerged boat in the lake. A reporting party advised concern about a boat that would sink if it took more water on due to the expected rainfall. Officers determined that the boat was not in danger of being submerged, and that it was secured to the shoreline. The registered owner of the boat was contacted via phone and advised of the situation.

On October 10 at 4:23 p.m. on the 25200 block of Merino St., officers responded to a residence. According to a resident, she saw a person in her yard earlier in the day and thought it was a pest control man. She said she did not see a receipt on her door like normal so she was not sure who was actually in her yard. She looked around and noticed an upper floor window was broken. She thought the two might be related, but was unsure.
Covington
On October 19 at 10:59 a.m. in the area of SE 256th St. and 180th Ave. SE, a vehicle was observed without a front or rear license plate. A paper was taped to the rear window of the vehicle without the necessary trip information. Upon contact, the driver stated that she did not have her driver’s license with her nor did she have any of the other pertinent information. The driver contacted a parent before shutting the vehicle off and refusing to surrender the keys. Check of the driver revealed she had a warrant for Driving While License Suspended, 3rd degree. The parent arrived and produced a bill of sale listing her as the owner. The parent had no idea where the plates were, but thought the auction yard might have kept them. Meanwhile, the female driver was booked into the Regional Justice Center on her warrant.

On October 13 at 10 p.m. on the 16700 block of SE 272nd St., a vehicle in a business parking lot was observed with dome light on and fogged windows. While running the plates, it was discovered that the driver of the vehicle had a Felony Warrant. Upon contact, it was confirmed that the male had a warrant for Department of Corrections, Escape Community Custody. An ax was observed next to the male passenger. Check of the male passenger following his exit from the vehicle revealed he had a warrant for Domestic Violence, Theft, 3rd degree. Both males were booked into King County Jail on their warrants.

On October 12 at 5:20 p.m. on the 17000 block of SE 272nd Pl., a male admitted to shoplifting bagels and liquor from a business. Check of the male revealed he had multiple warrants for theft. The male was booked into SCORE (South Correctional Entity) on his warrants. He was additionally recommended for an additional charge of Theft, 3rd degree.
King County
On October 23 at 8:38 p.m. on the 16400 block of SE Petrovitsky Rd., while conducting a park check, a male and female were observed in a vehicle. Upon contact, check of both revealed the female had a felony warrant for Conspiracy to commit Violation of the Uniform Controlled Substance Act (VUCSA). The female was booked into King County Jail on her warrant.

On October 23 at 1:26 p.m. on the 29300 block of 179th Pl. SE, it was reported that someone cut a lock and hasp off a hanger door. It was discovered that something heavy had been dragged from under an aircraft in the hanger leaving a scratch on the wing. The top edge of the wing was also scratched from something being dragged by it. Items stolen included collectible liquor bottles.

On October 22 at 5:21 p.m. on the 35200 block of 227th Ave. SE, a female called 911 to report that her ex-husband had broken into the residence and that she was hiding upstairs. As deputies were in route, the female reported that the ex-husband had left and went into the woods wearing a camo vest and jeans. Upon arrival, the male was not located at the residence or property. He and his truck/trailer were located off a logging road in the woods in the area. While nothing appeared to be missing for the residence, the male stated he had taken a bag of his shoes from a trailer on the female’s property, which was confirmed by the female. The male was booked into King County Jail for investigation of Burglary and Violation of Protection Order, Domestic Violence.

On October 20 at 10 p.m. on the 14000 block of SE Petrovitsky Rd., a male left his vehicle parked in a business parking lot with the doors unlocked and keys in the ignition. When he returned, the vehicle was missing.

On October 16 at 3:42 p.m., a 13-year-old male was contacted at his residence for a felony warrant regarding felony harassment. The male was booked into King County Juvenile Detention on his warrant.

On October 15 at 5:04 p.m. in the area of 135th Pl. SE and SE 170th St., deputies were dispatched to a vehicle parked alongside of the road with its hazards on and a group of people around it. Upon arrival, the female sitting in the driver’s seat was contact and stated that her boyfriend owned the vehicle and was walking to get gas. Upon arrival of the male, he was called by a name, associated with two warrants – Reckless Endangerment and Domestic Violence Malicious Mischief, 3rd degree. The male stated at first that it was his brother before admitting it was him. The male was booked into Kent Jail and the female took possession of the vehicle.
Maple Valley
On October 21 at 11:30 p.m. on the 23800 block of 222nd Pl. SE, someone smashed the front window of a vehicle and stole a purse with cell phone from inside the vehicle.

On October 19 at 9:32 p.m. on the 28800 block of Maple Valley Hwy., a female driver was traveling home from a bar when she failed to negotiate the roadway at an intersection and went into a ditch. Upon contact, the female smelled of intoxicants and had difficulty standing. She stated that her husband just put new tires and rims on the vehicle and that was why she had trouble driving. After giving two breath samples of .256/.244, the female was booked for investigation of DUI and her vehicle impounded.

On October 14 at 5:24 p.m. on the 21900 block of SE Wax Rd., a male was contacted at his residence for a felony warrant regarding Attempted Kidnapping, 2nd degree. While being transported, the male stated that he did not commit any crime and that all he was trying to do was to give a girl a ride. He continued to use and make derogatory remarks until his arrival at King County Jail where he was booked on his warrant.
