On 06/16/2021 Officers were dispatched to the 28900 block of 218th AVE SE in regard to a report of suspicious noises in the area. Officers arrived on scene and found loud hissing sounds emanating from trees and shrubbery in the area. It was determined that the noise was likely being caused by insects and no law enforcement action was taken.

On 6/19/2021, an officer was dispatched to the 32600 block of Hemlock AVE SE in regard to a noise complaint of juveniles playing basketball in the park. The Officer contacted a group of residents in a private park, although no crime was being committed. The Officer took the opportunity to introduced himself and asked the juveniles to keep it down for the nearby residence and they agreed.

On 6/19/2021, Officers were dispatched to a residence in the 32100 block of Union Drive regarding a noise complaint. Contact was made with at the residence and they were advised of the Noise Ordinance and they subsequently ended the music for the night.

On 6/20/2021, Black Diamond Officers observed a vehicle with a boat trailer and another vehicle illegally parked in the 22500 block of SE 296th ST. The two vehicles and the trailer were impounded and removed from the scene by Royal Towing.

On 06/23/2021 Officers responded to a residence in the 45300 block of 244th AVE SE in response to a request for assistance from the Enumclaw Police Department. Officers assisted with scene control and investigation into the recovery of a stolen vehicle.

On 06/23/2021 Officers were dispatched to the 30200 block of 224th AVE in regard to a report of an assault. Subsequent investigation determined that a sexual assault had occurred and a suspect was arrested and booked into the Enumclaw Jail.

On 06/23/2021, officers were provided with information regarding a suspected illegal marijuana grow operation in the area of the 25200 block of Kanaskat DR. This tip is under investigation.

On 06/23/2021, Officers took a theft report that occurred near the 33000 block of Eagle Peak LN. The theft was of more than $5,000.00 in lumber from a construction site. There was no surveillance video or workable suspect information. This case has been placed in an inactive status pending any further developments.

On 06/23/2021, officers received and in station report regarding a missing person. The complainant had not seen their adult age son for six days. Upon investigating, officers determined that the subject in question was actually in custody at SCORE Jail. The reporting party was advised of his whereabouts and officers cleared the call without incident.

On 06-23-21, at approximately 12:55 hours, Officers received a call from Valley Communication Radio regarding a two vehicle collision at 29200 216th AVE SE. Officers arrived at the scene and located the two vehicles that were involved in the collision. It was determined that the vehicle traveling north on 216th AVE SE failed to stop at a red light and struck the vehicle that was traveling east on SE 292nd ST through the intersection.

On 06/23/2021, a citizen turned in a wallet that they had found in the area to police officers. Officers located the owner via phone and returned his property to him. The call was cleared without incident.
