Black Diamond
On February 12 at 6:31 p.m. on the 31000 block of 229th Ave. SE, officers received an anonymous call regarding a possible subject that may have a no contact order with a subject and was possibly with them at a residence in the area. Upon attempting contact the subject ran from the house and was unable to be located. Another anonymous phone call stated the subject had returned to the residence. A perimeter was set before a second attempted contact and the subject was then taken into custody after resisting arrest. He was then booked into jail on his charges.

On February 8 at 3:44 p.m. on the 31900 block of Railroad Ave., an officer was dispatched for a car horn that was sounding for the past 10 minutes. When the officer arrived, he found an unoccupied vehicle parked in the driveway of a residence with the horn still sounding. After finding no one at home, the officer was able to make phone contact with the registered owner who responded from work and killed the power to the horn.

On February 8 at 9:32 a.m. on the 25510 Lawson St., an officer conducting court security and was advised by court staff of a subject in the courtroom with a felony warrant. That subject was detained for a short time while the warrant was confirmed. The Pierce County Sheriff’s Department advised to release the subject as they were refusing to come pick him up. The subject was released.
Covington
On February 1 at 12:40 p.m. on the 26700 block of 156th Pl. SE, according to a male driver, a second male driver, upset that the first driver was driving very slow, drove around the driver, stopped his vehicle in the roadway, got out of his vehicle and walked over to the first driver. The second driver began yelling at the first driver as well as punched the first driver’s window and vehicle mirror. The second driver left the scene, but was contacted later. His story was basically the same except, however, he stated that he had slapped the mirror. The second male was cited for Malicious Mischief, 3rd degree.

On February 1 at 4 a.m. on the 17300 block of SE 272nd St., a male driver was contacted for sitting in a parking lot by a no loitering sign. The male stated he just wanted to find a place to rest and watch his shows. The male was issued a Trespass Warning Letter and told not to come back to the property for a year.

On January 31 at 1 p.m. on the 17000 block of SE 272nd St., two females were observed entering a business and taking numerous bottles of vitamins off various shelves, before placing the items in their purses. They left the business without attempting to pay for the items. After exiting the business, the females were contacted by security with one fleeing the scene and the other returning to the business. It was estimated the females stole a combined amount of approximately $1757 worth of vitamins. The female that fled was located at another business close by. Check of the name of one of the females, who claimed to be 16 years old, came back no record. Check of the female’s purse revealed marijuana. After being told she would be fingerprinted, the female finally gave the correct information. The female, who was 18 years old, was booked into Regional Justice Center for Theft. Both females were charged with Theft, 2nd degree. Security was able to get the items back.
King County
On February 3 at 8:56 p.m. on the 17200 block of 140th Ave. SE, according to witnesses, a male drove up to a gas pump and then when backing up to reposition himself, he hit a vehicle in back of him. The male then pulled forward and collided with another vehicle and a third vehicle was hit by the male as he reversed hard once again. The male then fled the scene, however, he was found with his vehicle down the road in a ditch. The male’s vehicle was impounded and the male charged with DUI and Hit and Run Attended.

On February 2 at 4:24 p.m. on the 19600 block of SE Auburn Black Diamond Rd., it was reported that after purchasing a vehicle, the new owners found out that it was a stolen vehicle out of another state. The vehicle had originally been stolen out of a business parking lot.

On February 2 at 2:25 p.m. in the area of SE Petrovitsky Rd. and 140th Ave. SE, a male and female were reported as being naked and “fooling around” in a vehicle in a business parking lot. Upon contact, the male stated he had taken heroine. The vehicle was impounded and the male and female trespassed before being sent to the hospital to be checked.
On January 31 at 10 a.m. on the 222600 block of Sweeney Rd. SE, it was reported that a vehicle was videoed driving through a school field. Attempts to contact the registered owner at the time ended with negative results.

On January 31 at 6 a.m. on the 13700 block of SE 201st, someone entered a work truck. Stolen items included a GPS, jacket and vehicle registration. Upon confronting a male suspect driver parked in front of the resident’s truck and who was wearing the resident’s jacket, the suspect fled the scene.

On January 31 at 2:25 a.m. on the 15800 block of 140th Ave. SE, a vehicle was observed with expired tabs. Upon contact, the male stated his vehicle had been stolen a few months back and that he had received new plates, which were on the vehicle. Check of the old plates, which were in the vehicle, revealed the vehicle was still reported as stolen. The male was identified as the owner. The deputy took the old plates and told the male to get the correct tabs for the new plates as the male had possibly been issued the wrong tabs.
Maple Valley
On February 3 at 3:54 p.m. on the 22900 block of SR 169, a vehicle’s license tabs were observed to be expired. Check of the male driver revealed he had a suspended license for failing to appear for unpaid tickets as well as had a warrant for driving while license suspended. The vehicle was impounded and the male booked into SCORE (South Correctional Entity), on his warrant. Additional charges included notice of infraction for No Proof of Insurance and Expired Tabs over two months.

On February 3 at 1 p.m. on the 23200 block of Maple Valley Black Diamond Rd. SE, when a female was told she could not bring food into a restaurant that had been purchased elsewhere, the female started screaming. The female stated she had been eating her own food in the restaurant for a year. The female was trespassed from the restaurant.

On January 29 at 3:17 on the 21500 block of SE Wax Rd., a vehicle was observed exceeding the speed limit. Upon contact, the driver stated he had a suspended license. Check of the male revealed he had a warrant for Reckless Driving. The vehicle was impounded and the driver booked into King County Jail on his warrant.
